Kilderry radio path surveys
Why carry out a radio path survey?
A client would normally request a radio path survey if they want to connect two or more locations together but do not want the expense of running cables. A typical example of this would be a water treatment plant taking water from a low lying lake and pumping the treated water to a remote reservoir on a hilltop say 5 kilometers away. Another example is a plant with two systems separated by a concrete yard that need to be tied back to a SCADA system. This could involve cutting a channel in the concrete and digging a trench. An easy solution would be a simple radio system.
